Programs

You don't need to be enrolled in a university course in order to learn about the environment or sustainability! The IU RTP hosts youth (K-12) and adult education programs for the inquisitive mind!  The IU RTP also facilitates citizen scientists who wish to contribute to scientitific research.

What does the RTP have to offer?

  • Youth Education
    The RTP hosts K-12 youth programs such as the Sustainability and Environment Summer Experience (SESE) as well as field outings for local K-12 schools!
  • Adult Education
    Workshops are offered for teachers and environment & sustainability enthusiasts such as Indiana Master Naturalist and Project WILD!
  • Citizen Science
    Learn how to become a volunteer citizen scientist in order to better your community and environment through programs like Hoosier Riverwatch!
  • Interpretive Hikes
    The RTP offers interpretive hikes at several of our properties for IU students and the local community!
