The Field Lab
The Indiana University Research & Teaching Preserve field lab, completed April 2009, was constructed with the purpose to enhance research and teaching in the environmental sciences on the Indiana University campus. This innovative building serves as a laboratory classroom in a natural setting (situated near University Lake on the Griffy Woods property) and is the first LEED-certified building at IU Bloomington. The field lab has UITS-based technology classrooms, a conference room, three "wet" labs, a computer lab, whiteboards, an 80" monitor, and other research and teaching equipment.
